About the Founder

Teba Orueta, the Director of DeNatura® Wellness, was born and raised in Spain. A female entrepreneur and passionate wellness advocate, she holds a B.A. in Marketing from Stirling University, UK (with minors in French and Japanese), a Florida Board-License in Therapeutic Massage and a Yoga Alliance teacher certification in Hatha Yoga and Meditation.

Merging what many believe to be two opposites –  corporate know-how with skilled wellness technique – is the valuable and unique combination that makes Teba Orueta and her company coveted.  The growing trends and needs for mental health and stress management fuel her passion for making the profound benefits of complementary medicine known to the mainstream public, with proven wellness initiatives focused on mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.

Business Background

Teba worked in leadership roles for Procter & Gamble UK from 1998 – 2006  in London and Madrid before choosing to explore her passion for alternative medicine and holistic bodywork.

After 3 years studying and training in SE Asia and India, Teba became certified as an instructor of holistic bodywork, yoga and meditation in India and Thailand.

A SPA Director in Spain’s Ritz-Carlton Abama Golf & Spa Resort from 2008 -2010, Teba graduated from Educating Hands in 2011,  one of the top 10 bodywork schools in North America, going on to become the school’s Director of Admissions and then Director of Continuing Education from 1011-2016. Teba has also studied and practiced  Jon Kabat Zinn’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction since 2016.
